Installation Instructions
NOTE: This instruction sheet describes how to
replace the foot bars in the Arc Trainer 425A.
Tools Required
7/32 Allen wrench (2)
Rubber mallet and punch (optional)
Grease
1. Read and understand all instructions
thoroughly before installing this kit.
2. Verify you received the appropriate kit.
See Figure 1.

3. Confirm the proper replacement foot bar.
A. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
B. Confirm you have the proper replacement
foot bar. NOTE: The two foot bars are not
interchangeable.
5. Remove rear leg.
A. Using two 7/32” Allen wrenches, remove the
inside BHSCS, plastic end cap and spacer
as shown in Figure 3. While holding the rear
leg remove the pivot pin. NOTE: You may
need a rubber mallet and punch to remove
the pivot pin.
NOTE: Older units have an aluminum end cap
and do not have a spacer.
B. Carefully lower the rear leg. See Figure 3.

4. Remove BHSCS and end cap.
A. Using a 7/32” Allen wrench, remove the
Button Head Socket Cap Screw (BHSCS),
plastic end cap and spacer securing the rear
leg to the foot bar. See Figure 2.
NOTE: Older units have an aluminum end cap
and do not have a spacer.
