Configuring Advanced Settings
The Advanced Settings icon provides screens for registering the extender, changing
administrative password, updating the extender’s firmware, restoring factory settings, and
rebooting the extender.

Note: To close an Advanced Settings screen, click the Close button at the top
of the screen. The My Dashboard home screen displays.
Changing the Administrator Password
The admin account manages the extender interface. The admin has
read/write access and can create passwords. The default password is passwor
d; to keep
your extender secure, it is a best practice to create a new password. To change the
administrator password:
1. Click the Advanced Settings icon and the

display the Admin/Administrator screen.
2. Enter the existing administrator password in Original Password and the new
administrator password in the Password and Verify Password fields. Click Save.
