Tough remote modules mount on DIN rails anywhere on the shop floor

Many factory-floor networks were designed and built when

serial protocols such as RS-232/422/485/530 were the only

practical choices. Now CyberResearch has expanded our shop-

floor-tough series of remote CYMOD modules so that you can take

advantage of the power and flexibility of USB ports and Ethernet

communications without redesigning your network.

If you have more serial devices than ports on your host PC, use

our CM 7561 module to convert a USB port into a serial port. For

more flexibility, our CM 7188 Ethernet modules provide 2 to 8

serial ports (one RS-485, plus up to seven RS-232 ports). The “D”

display models alternately flash the last two groups of their

network IP address for visual identification.
