Lithium Rechargeable Batteries:
Internal lithium batteries, if handled incorrectly,
could cause injury or death. Refer to local
regulations for handling and disposal of batteries.

Static Sensitive Components:
Observe precautions for static sensitive
components.
Disposal:
The product must not be disposed of with
normal waste. Instead, it is your responsibility to
dispose of your waste equipment by arranging
to return it to CyberOptics for recycling. By
separating and recycling your waste equipment
at the time of disposal you will help to conserve
natural resources and ensure that the equipment is
recycled in a manner that protects human health

Large Particle Detection: APS3 units have
large particle detection capability. This is in
addition to the normal small particle detection.
Large particle operation is very similar to small
particle detection so that all of the sections in
this manual describing settings and operation
are still valid for large particle detection. How
to operate large particle detection and the
differences between the two modes are described
in Appendix A – Large Particle Detection.
