Changing the Vertical Scale
You can set the vertical scale for the particle measurement graph. The scale is in particles per
unit time when displaying particle frequency, or in particles per unit volume when displaying
particle density. Particle measurement values that are too large to display with the current scale
setting may appear to be off screen. The Zoom out to extents button will adjust to fit on the
screen.
To change the vertical scale:
• In the Display Options, under Measurement Units choose the type of
measurement for your application. If you have chosen to display particle density, the
units will be those of volume. If you have chosen to display particle frequency, the
units will be those of time.
• The graph window will adjust to the units that have been selected. The vertical scale
bar can be adjusted to accommodate the larger values, and the Zoom out to extents
button in the upper right of the graph window will also adjust to the new values if
you’ve already recorded data.
