2.4 Set up the MGROUPS
Note A MGROUP is a way of assigning multicast addresses and port numbers when configuring
multicast paging speakers.
1. Click on the MG
ROUPS Setup button to open the MGROUPS Setup page. See Figure 2-13.

2. On the MG
ROUPS Setup page, enter values for the parameters indicated in Table 2-12.

MG-Emergency Use MG-Emergency for the MGROUP with the highest

MG-(1-8) Use MG-(1-8) to assign MGROUPS 1 through 8.

priority (background audio for example).
