2.3 The Clock Kit Adapter Battery
2.3.1 JP1 Battery Enable Jumper for Real-Time Clock Operation
To enable the battery for real-time clock operation, install a jumper on JP1 as shown in Figure 2-13.
Note This jumper ensures that the clock will not lose the time setting in the event of a power
outage.
