Your spa should be filled 2/3 of the way up the skimmer opening. Please see diagram for proper water6
level.
For 110v/15 amp spas, once the spa has been filled with water to the correct level, plug the power cord7
into the recepticle and be sure that the reset button has been pressed on both the wall recepticle and
the plug’s GFCI.
For 220v spas, switch the spa ON at the GFCI breaker switch. Any switches should NOT be located8
within 10 feet of the spa.
The spa panel will display immediately after the power is turned on and enter priming mode (Pr). After9
5 minutes the spa will enter a filter cycle and begin to circulate the water. If after 10 minutes the water
is not moving, switch the spa off and refer to the troubleshooting guide in the manual: PUMP WILL
NOT PRIME OR FUNCTION.
Once you have the water circulating, adjust the water temperature to the desired level and set the filter10
cycle (please refer to separate instructions provided for the control panel).
Add and adjust your chemicals to the spa water following the chemical start-up procedure supplied to11
you by your local pool/spa dealer.
Ensure that the hard cover is fitted to the spa as this will greatly reduce heat-up time. 12
