C. Installing the Knob and Pull on the Inside
Door Panel
1. Slide the Inside Door Panel towards the
shower head about 5” to 6” for the next step.
2. Locate the Knob and Recessed Finger Pull.
Refer to Figure 19 to help identify the parts.
3. Unscrew the Knob from the Recessed Finger
Pull and insert the Recessed Finger Pull with one
Washer and the Bushing through the hole in the
Inside Door Panel nearest the shower head.
4. Attach the Knob with the other Washer to the
Recessed Finger Pull by screwing “finger tight.”
Knob should face the inside of the shower (See
Figure 20).

If your unit has the benefit of CwShield™ Glass
Protection, following the detailed maintenance
instructions below will ensure many years of
satisfaction.
• After each use: Use a small plastic bowl or
pitcher (a handheld tub/shower sprayer will
also work) to carefully pour clean water along
the top edge of the glass in a stream as you
move across the panel, being careful not to
pour the water out through any gaps that
may exist in the enclosure. The majority of
the soapy residual water will drain off. Use a
small hand towel to pat dry the few remaining
droplets.
• Once a month: Each month after use, wet a
nylon “light scrubber” and go over the wet
glass, rubbing in a circular motion over all
the glass. You should feel any “sticky” places
return to “slick” again. Then carefully pour
the water along the top edge of the glass in a
stream as you move across the panel, just as
you do after each use.
• Never use harsh chemicals, as they will harm
the CwShield™ Protective Coating.
For units without CwShield™ Glass Protection,
we recommend cleaning the glass and enclosure
hardware with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner designed
for mirror and/or glass. Avoid using scouring
cleansers as this will scratch and mar the beautiful
finish on the enclosure.
Note: The Solana Knob comes with screw which goes
through the Recessed Finger Pull and into the Knob.
Tighten with phillips screwdriver.
D. Installing the End Cap and Pull on the Inside
Door Panel
1. Gently slide the Inside Door Panel towards the
wall with the shower head and ensure that the
Knob is installed correctly (See Figure 20).
2. Place a Washer on the last Recessed Finger
Pull and insert it with the Bushing from inside
the tub/shower so that threaded end sticks out
the front of the Inside Door Panel.
3. Place another Washer over the threaded end
of the Recessed Finger Pull and screw on the End
Cap “finger tight.”

Using a caulking gun and clear silicone, seal inside
your shower enclosure in the following areas:
• At the bottom of the Left and Right Wall Jamb
inside where the Curb and Wall Jamb meet.
• Inside of the shower from the top of the Header,
down the Wall Jamb to the sill of your opening.
• Inside of the shower from wall to wall, along the
Curb where the Curb and sill meet.
Note: Silicone sealant must cure before you use your
new enclosure. Silicone curing will vary. Please follow
curing instructions on the tube.
