Step 3 C. Locate the Curb. Remove the Panel Glide Strip from the Curb (See Figure 3). Note: The Aerial™ comes with two Wall Jambs. One is notched for the left wall, the other is notched for the right wall. Each Wall Jamb is marked clearly on the bottom back side: “L” for left, “R” for right. Inside enclosure Painter’s tape A. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LOCK THE CENTER GUIDE IN PLACE UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO INSTALL IT! Once the Center Guide is in place the shower Door Panels will be extremely difficult to remove, and adjusting or removing the Center Guide will be nearly impossible.
E. Slide the Center Guide under the Door Panel. Center the Center Guide on the pencil mark you made (See Figure 13b). Press the Center Guide onto the Curb and lock it into position by pressing firmly on the back edge of the Center Guide as shown in Figure 13c. You should feel it lock into place. If the Center Guide does not lock into position easily, it may be necessary to press firmly on one end to start the process and work along the back of the Center Guide in order to lock it into place. Step 9 A.
B. Hanging the Outside Panel on the Header freely (See Figure 15). Installing the Door Panels may be easier if you have someone assisting you. Always wear gloves and safety glasses whenever handling glass. Note: If you have a Soft Close installed in your Header, you will need to move the Soft Close mechanisms inside the Header all the way to the ends (two on each end of the Header track), so they are out of the way when attaching the Soft Close Catches.
A. Installing the Towel Bar to the Outside Panel tighten with the Hex Key. Do not over tighten. 4. Repeat Step 9, B3 with second Outside Panel Hanger Assembly. This will secure the Outside Panel to the Header. Do not over tighten the screw. 1. Locate the Towel Bar Kit parts for the Outside Door including a Towel Bar, two Towel Bar Adapters, two Recessed Finger Pulls, four Washers and two Bushings. Refer to Figure 18-19 to help identify these parts for your hardware style. C.
