LED safety
The infrared port on the front of the printer conforms to Class 1 for LED
devices (light-emitting diode), on the basis of international standard IEC 825-
1 (EN 60825-1). This device is not considered harmful, but the following
precautions should be observed:
• avoid direct exposure of eyes to infrared LED rays;
• remember that infrared rays are not visible;
• do not attempt to observe infrared LED rays with any type of optical aid.
