4.3 CHARACTER SETS IN KPM54 EMULATION

The printer has 2 embedded fonts of varying width (11 and 15 cpi) which may be accessed through pro-

gramming (section 1.3) or control characters (see Command Reference). Each of these fonts offers the

following code table: PC437.

Shown below in ﬁ gure 4.2 are examples of the 11 cpi character set.

To print the Euro (€) symbol, the command sequence is: $1B, $74, $13, $D5.
