3 — PROGRAMMABLE PARAMETERS
PROGRAM 2 [default access: OEM] (123X models only)
The program 2 parameter congures an auxiliary high side driver at Pin 16.
This output is rated at 2 amps and is not short circuit protected. It can be
programmed in any of eight congurations (Types 18 in the Program 2 Driver
programming menu), as listed in Table 7.
Any component can be controlled by this output provided its current
requirements do not exceed the drivers 2 amp rating. However, since this driver
is not fault checked, it should not be used to drive an electromagnetic brake.
