1) Under the rear of the car, locate the left and right frame rails. Remove the tie down bracket if installed. On
models with the rear exhaust hanger bolted to the right side (passenger) frame rail, temporarily remove
hanger from the frame rail. This exhaust hanger will be reinstalled under the hitch bracket.
2) Lift the hitch into position on the car with the flat exhaust bridge part of hitch passing under the car's exhaust
tip(s). Mount the hitch to the car at 10mm threaded holes using fasteners. Reinstall the exhaust hanger
under the hitch bracket on the right side.
3) One the driver's side only, use the hitch as a template, and drill a hole for fasteners in the bottom surface of
the frame rail 1/2" diameter. Place a 1" diameter access hole through the bottom surface of frame rail just
forward of the hitch as shown.
4) Fishwire backing plate and 7/16" carriage bolt into frame rail and out at 1/2" hole. Lower hitch to make
fishwiring easier if necessary.
5) Torque all 7/16" fasteners to 50 lb-ft, and all 10mm screws to 37 lb-ft.
