1. Locate the vehicle’s 8-pin trailer wiring

connector behind the bumper. The connector

will be similar to the connector on the 4-ﬂat

harness (A). Remove the cover and insert the

trailer wiring harness connector into the

vehicles connector. Make sure the connectors

are fully inserted with locking tabs in place.

2. Locate a suitable grounding point near the

connector such as an existing screw with nut

in the vehicle’s frame or drill a 3/32” hole and

secure white wire using eyelet and screw

provided.

3. Route the 4-ﬂat to the center of the vehicle

and secure in a convenient out of the way

location. Secure any loose wires with the

cable ties provided.

drilling to avoid damage and/or personal

injury.
