Installation Guide

1. Open the trunk and remove the vehicle’s
floor covering (A). Remove the rear scuff
panel by removing the plastic fasteners
holding it in place (B). On each side of the
trunk pull back the felt trunk liner behind the
taillight (C). Behind the trunk liner remove
three plastic wing nuts holding the taillight in
place (D). Pull out on the taillights to remove.
Locate the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness
connectors (E). The connectors will be similar
to those on the T-Connector harness.
2. Starting on the driver side of the vehicle
separate the connectors taking care not to
damage the locking tabs (F). Insert the
T-Connector end with the yellow wire
between the separated connectors. Make
sure the connectors are fully inserted with
locking tabs in place.
WARNING!
Verify miscellaneous items that may be
hidden behind or under any surface before
drilling to avoid damage and/or personal
injury.
3. Locate a suitable grounding point near the
connector such as an existing screw with nut
in the vehicle’s frame or drill a 3/32” hole and
secure white wire using eyelet and screw
provided.
4. Route the T-Connector with the green wire
and the 4-flat down through the opening
under the taillight. Under the vehicle route
the T-Connector end with the green wire
across the backside of the bumper to the
passenger side and up through the opening
under the passenger side taillight. Repeat
Step 2 on the passenger side using the green
wire.
5. Secure the 4-flat to the center of the
vehicle in a convenient out of the way
location. Secure any loose wires with the
cable ties provided.
6. Secure any loose parts of the T-Connector
with the cable ties provided.
7. Reinstall all items removed during install.
