Installation Guide
If copying/pasting, eye-drop this text to
ensure a uniform look for all installation
paragraphs.
1. Remove the vehicles rear scuff panel by
removing cargo loops holding them in
place. On each side of the vehicle
remove two plastic wing nuts holding the
rear trim panel in place. Pull back on the
trim panels being sure not to damage the
alignment tabs. Behind the trim panels
locate the vehicles taillight wiring harness
the harness will have connectors similar to
those on the T-connector.
2. Starting on the drivers side separate the
vehicles connectors being sure to damage
the locking tabs. Insert the T-connector end
with the yellow wire in-between the
separated connectors. Make sure the
connectors are fully inserted with locking
tabs in place.
3. Route the T-connector end with the
green wire to the passenger side along the
removed scuff panel. Repeat step to on the
passengers side using the green wire.
4. Locate a suitable grounding point near
the connector such as an existing screw
with nut in the vehicle’s frame or drill a
3/32” hole and secure white wire using
eyelet and screw provided.
5. Route the 4-flat wire to the center of the
vehicle and out the hatch when in use.
When not in use roll up and store in an out
of the way location in the rear cargo area.
