Installation Guide
1. Open the hatch and remove the cargo
nets and floor coverings. Remove cargo
area cover to reveal the spare tire
compartment. Remove the rear scuff
panel by prying out using a trim puller being
careful not to damage the plastic tabs
holding it in place. Remove the storage
tray on the passenger side of the spare tire.
Remove the rear access cover on the
passenger side trim panel.
2. Behind the access cover locate the
vehicles factor tow harness. The connector
on the vehicles tow harness will have
connection points that match the harness’s
connector. Insert the harness connector into
the vehicles connector make sure the
connector is fully inserted with locking tabs
in place.
3. Adhere the black converter box to the
frame of the car using the double-sided
tape provided. Secure any loose parts of
the T-connector with the cable ties
provided.
4. Route the 4-flatout from under the rear
trim panel and to the center of the vehicle
and out of the rear hatch when in user.
When not in use roll up and store in an out
of the way location in the spare tire storage
compartment.
