If copying/pasting, eye-drop this text to
ensure a uniform look for all installation
paragraphs.
1. Open the vehicles tailgate and remove
the drivers side taillight assembly, by
removing the two plastic fasteners on the
taillight assembly and pulling out on the
taillight. Then repeat on the passenger side.
2. Separate the vehicles connectors on both
sides of the vehicle. On the drivers side
plug the harness end with the yellow wire
in-between the mating connectors.
3. Route the green wire and 4-Flat wire
down through the opening on the drivers
side. Then route the green wire along the
back side of the bumper to the passenger
side then up through the opening and plug
in-between the mating connectors.
4. Route the 4-Flat wire from the drivers
side of the vehicle to the center of the
vehicle and cable tie in a convenient
location.
5. Locate a suitable grounding point near
the connector such as an existing screw
with nut in the vehicle’s frame or drill a
3/32” hole and secure white wire using
eyelet and screw provided.
6.Adhere the black converter box to the
frame of the car using the double-sided
tape provided. Secure any loose parts of
the T-connector with the cable ties
provided.
