INSTALLATION
Step 1
Locate the white, vehicle brake control harness connector.
The connector will be similar to that on the CURT brake control
harness. You will find ithe connector underneath the dash, just to
the left of the steering wheel, taped to another harness near the
emergency brake pedal.
Note: In some cases it may be easier to locate the vehicle
connector if you partialy remove the small trim panel located
in front of the vehicle electric brake control connector location.
Remove the Phillips screw securing the trim panel in place (A).
Step 2
Once the electric brake control connector is located, check
to see if there is foam padding on the connector. If there is,
remove the padding for the installation.
Step 3
Insert the connector on the CURT brake control harness into
the vehicle connector. Make sure the connector is fully inserted
with locking tabs in place (B). If it was removed, reinstall the
removed panel from Steps 1.
Step 4
Insert the brake control harness's black connector into the
brake control's quick plug connector. Secure the brake control
harness with the provided cable ties, avoiding any pinch points.
Step 5
Complete the installation using the brake control instructions.
Mount the unit as directed and perform test procedures as
instructed in the brake control user manual.
