ELECTRIC BRAKE CONTROL
ADAPTER HARNESS

DE FREIN ÉLECTRIQUE
1. Locate the vehicle's electric brake control
harness. The harness will be located
underneath the dash, just to the right of the
emergency brake, taped to another
harness. It will be a 4-pin housing, this
housing plugs into the brake control
harness supplied (A).
2. Plug the two housings together making
sure the housings are fully inserted with the
locking tabs in place (B). Connect the
housing(quick plug) on the other end into
the mating housing on the brake controller.
3. On the driver side pry up and remove the
sill plate (C). Under the sill plate locate the
bundle of wires. In the bundle locate the
white wire with a dark green stripe (D).
Note: Make sure that you are connecting to
the correct white wire with the dark green
stripe by probing the wire using a test
probe or multimeter. The probe should light
up when the brake pedal is depressed.
4. Connect the maroon T-Tap connector to
the white wire with the dark green stripe
using a pliers (E). Make sure the connector
is locked into place. Connect the red wire
to the maroon connecter. Make sure the
connectors are fully inserted (F).
5. Complete the installation per the electric
brake control manufacturer's instructions
and mount the unit as directed. Perform
test procedures as instructed. Re-install all
items removed during install.
