Both the front and rear tires on the e4.5 are pneumatic, meaning they need to be kept inated at the proper air pressure to
work properly. Just like a car tire, the proper ination pressure is molded into the sidewall of the tire. Unlike a car, it is best
to inate your scooter’s tires with a hand pump (usually sold for inating bicycle tires), to avoid overlling.
To inate the front tire:
1. Remove the valve cap from the air valve.
2. Add air as needed, checking the pressure regularly to avoid overlling.
3. Reinstall the valve cap.
To inate the rear tire:
1. Move aside the door on the chainguard covering the valve. Align the tire valve with the hole in the chainguard, and
remove the valve cap.
2. Install the supplied valve extender.
3. Add air as needed, checking the pressure regularly to avoid overlling.
4. Remove the valve extender, reinstall the valve cap, and close the cover door.
