To check the engine oil level:
1. Make sure that the engine has not been running for approximately five minutes.
2. Clean off the area surrounding the dipstick port to prevent entry of debris into
the oil pan.
3. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean.
4. Reinsert and fully seat the dipstick.
5. Remove the dipstick and check the oil level.
NOTICE
The engine oil level indicated on the dipstick should be between the
High (4.3 L or 4.5 qt) and Low (3.8 L or 4.0 qt) marks.
6. Reinsert and fully seat the dipstick.
