3.1.4.1 Removing Main Bonding Jumper

To remove the main bonding jumper, remove the bolt from the neutral and the nut from the stud on the

cabinet using a 10 mm hex wrench (see figure below).

The neutral bar assembly will not be grounded after the neutral bonding jumper is removed. Any

necessary ground connections should be made using the ground lug located below the neutral assembly.

If an additional ground lug is desired, remove one of the neutral ground lugs, relocate it to the bonding

jumper cabinet stud, and attach using the hardware that was removed with the bonding jumper.
