4 Operation
4.1 Transfer Switch Configuration
The transfer switch is preset at the factory to operate using default settings. The control will operate the
transfer switch when power is applied. However, you may wish to adjust some of the settings for your
application.
The transfer switch must be installed correctly, with DC power present, before any adjustments to the
configuration can be made. If the transfer switch is connected to utility power, the Utility Power Connected
LED will be lit if battery power is available. Utility or genset voltage need not be present to adjust the
configuration.
The following tables show which control functions should not be changed and which functions can be
changed for your application.
