Troubleshooting
Leaks between cap and bottom of lter housing
1. Turnoffwatersupplyandpresstheredpressure-reliefbutton.Removebottomof
housing.
2. CleanO-ringandO-ringgroove(locateddirectlybeneaththreadsofhousing).Lubri-
cateO-ringwithsiliconegreaseandreplacesecurelyintogroove.Screwbottomof
housingontocapandhand-tighten.DONOTOVER-TIGHTEN.
Leaks on inlet/outlet connections
1. Turnoffwatersupplyandturnonfaucettoreleasepressureinpipes.Remove
tubingfromtting(see#3underInstallation)andmakesureendoftubingiscut
squarelyandfreeofburrs.Reinserttubingintoquick-connectttings,makingsure
to push securely until tubing hits a hard stop.
2. Turnonwatersupply.Ifleakspersist,orifthereareotherleaksonsystem,turnoff
watersupply.CallTechnicalSupportat1-800-721-9243.
