While gelatin is activating, put 1½ cups of the cream, yogurt,

mascarpone, vanilla and honey in a medium mixing bowl. Whisk to

combine; reserve.

Pour the remaining cream and sugar into a small saucepan. Set

over medium heat; whisk to dissolve sugar. Bring the mixture to a

simmer. Once the cream/sugar mixture has reached a simmer, stir

in the water/gelatin mixture. Put the combined mixture into the jar

of your Cuisinart

Divide the blended mixture among eight 5-ounce ramekins. Chill

overnight.

Banana-Raspberry Fool

This versatile dessert can be made with just about any fruit. Follow

the same instructions but substitute your favorite fruit in place of

the raspberries and bananas – you may also have to adjust the

sugar amount to taste, depending on the ripeness of the fruit used.

Makes 6 servings

2 medium bananas, cut into 1-inch pieces

2 tablespoons light or dark brown sugar

pinch table salt

1 cup fresh or frozen (thawed) raspberries

½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1½ cups heavy cream, well chilled

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

Put the bananas, brown sugar, salt, raspberries and lemon juice

into the jar of your Cuisinart

Low for 1½ minutes.

With the blender running on Low, add the cream and granulated

sugar through the top of the lid. Continue on Low until mixture has

thickened, about 2½ minutes.

Divide the blended mixture among six 5-ounce-ramekins. Chill

overnight.

Sweetened Whipped Cream

It is always a treat to have a dollop of our Sweetened Whipped

Cream over fresh fruit or a cup of coffee.

Makes 1¼ cups

1 cup heavy cream, well-chilled

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Put all ingredients, in the order listed, into the jar of your Cuisinart
