If a grounding-type outlet is not available, an adapter may be obtained so that a 2-slot wall outlet can be used with a 3-prong plug. The adapter must be grounded by attaching its grounding lug under the screw of the outlet cover plate.

Please note that the actual cabinet temperature in a thermoelectric unit is dependent on the ambient temperature. 2. T emperature Adjustment/Control To change temperature, press the (+) or (-) button until the desired temperature appears in the display. You may set the cabinet temperature within range, but the unit may not reach that temperature.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS Do not plug unit into the same outlet as a refrigerator or microwave. Important: When using the wine cellar for the first time, allow at least 48 hours for the internal temperature to adjust properly. Make sure there are at least 1 to 3 bottles in both compartments. Make sure there is a suitable power outlet (120 volts, 15 amps) with proper grounding to power the wine cellar.
INSTALLING AND MAINTAINING YOUR AIR FILTER CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Warning: To avoid electric shock, always unplug your wine cellar before cleaning. Ignoring this warning may result in death or injury. Your wine cellar has a removable air filter that helps keep the fan and motor free of dust and dirt. It is easy to install and remove, and should be cleaned every 3 months.
WINE TIPS AND HINTS When choosing wine, take advantage of the knowledge of the personnel in the wine store as well as reviews of wines from wine publications. The price of a wine is not necessarily indicative of relative quality. Very good wines can be purchased at comfortable-for-thewallet prices. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSE Vibrations • Check to make sure the wine cellar is on a level surface. •M ake sure the cooling vents on the right and left sides of the cooler are not obstructed. Have at least 2 inches of space on both sides and rear of unit. The inside temperature does not seem correct •T he room may be too hot. Example: If the ambient temperature is 80ºF (27ºC) or higher, the unit can have difficulty chilling adequately on the white wine setting.
