REMOVING THE FILTERS FOR THE CAP-500 AIR PURIFIER
1. Always turn off and unplug your Cuisinart® Purxium™ Air Purier before replacing or removing lters.
2. Remove the side panels one at a time by placing your nger into the opening and pulling lightly on the panel.
3. Pull lightly on the tab on the removable, reusable metal pre-lter and pull slightly up and away from unit.
4. Remove each combination H13 HEPA/Active Carbon lter system.
5. Hand-wash the metal pre-lters in warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly before using them with your new replacement lter.
INSTALLING YOUR REPLACEMENT FILTER SYSTEM
Your air purier will automatically tell you when it’s time to change your lter.
An icon on the control panel will illuminate after 2,500 hours of purication have
been reached.
1. Slide each new lter system into the slots on either side of the unit until you feel resistance.
2. Place the washed and dried removable, reusable metal pre-lters into the slots. Place panels back onto the unit.
3. Plug in the purier and power it up. YOU WILL NOW NEED TO RESET THE FILTER INDICATOR.
4. Reset the Filter Indicator Light by pressing and holding down the Night Light button for 3 seconds.
FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS
Our H13 High-Grade HEPA lter captures up to 99.9% of airborne particles
0.1 micron or larger, including bacteria and various contaminants as well as dust, pollen,
and odors from cooking, smoke, pet dander, and VOCs. The CAP-500 quiet DC
motor has a 3-stage ltration system that puries air in an area up to 500 sq. ft. two times
every hour or in an up to 250-sq.-ft. area four times every hour.

1. Siempre apague y desenchufe el puricador de aire Purxium™ de Cuisinart® antes de cambiar o retirar los ltros.
2. Retire los paneles laterales uno por uno, colocando el dedo en la abertura y jalando ligeramente el panel.
3. Retire cada sistema de ltración HEPA H13 /ltro de carbón activo.
4. Luego, deslice cada preltro metálico removible y reutilizable del juego de ltros.
5. Lave cuidadosamente los preltros metálicos en agua jabonosa tibia antes de instalar el sistema de ltración de repuesto.
INSTALACIÓN DEL SISTEMA DE FILTRACIÓN DE REPUESTO
Su puricador de aire le avisará automáticamente cuando llegue el momento de cambiar el ltro.
El ícono “Replace Filter” en el panel de control se encenderá después de 2500 horas de puricación del aire.
1. Deslice los nuevos sistemas de ltración en los costados la unidad hasta que sienta resistencia.
2. Introduzca los preltros metálicos removibles y reutilizables (lavados y secos), en las ranuras. Vuelva a colocar los paneles en la unidad.
3. Enchufe y encienda la unidad. AHORA TENDRÁ QUE REINICIAR EL INDICADOR DE CAMBIO DEL FILTRO.
4. Para reiniciar el indicador de cambio del ltro, mantenga presionando el ícono de la luna por 3 segundos.
