Using the Camera in Cold Condions
Be aware of these things if you use your camera in
extreme cold (below 32
o
F or 0
o
C).
1. Baery life may be reduced by 50% or more.
2. Night illuminaon range may be reduced because
cold baeries typically cannot deliver the same
amount of power to the LEDs as warm baeries.
3. Flash cameras are not as aected by cold as much
as LED based cameras are.
4. We recommend you use a longer delay, around 30
seconds or more, to give the baeries a rest
period.
5. We recommend you do not use videos or limit
video length to 10 seconds. If you want to record
videos we recommend you use lithium baeries in
cold condions.
6. Using CuddePower to operate the camera with
addional baeries will greatly improve cold
weather performance and baery life. See
Cuddeback.com for details.
