connectsparkplugwireandmovewire awayfromsparkplug.

GRASSCATCHER
PARTS REPLACEMENT
TheGrassCatcherismadeupof three
parts: the door, the frame, andthecloth
bog. Thefollowing procedureexplains
how to removeandreplaceeachofthe
parts.
Replacingthe GrassCatcher Door
1. Removethe GrassCatcherfrom the

5-13). Removeeachof the clipsby
pulling from an endand off the frame(F).

the handlewith onehandwhilepullingthe
top-side of the door (C,Figure5-12) out
andoff theendof the rod (D).

freelywhendone.
Replacingthe ClothBagor Frame
1. Removethe GrassCatcherfrom the
mower.
4. Pullthe bagoffthe frame.
5. To replacetheframeor bag, position
the top of the bag(long side) up.
Positionthe top of the frame (wire-
formed handleside) up. Pullthe open
end of the bagover the rearend of the
frameand underthe handle.
6. Presseachof the bag'sfour plastic
clips (E,Figure5-13) ontothe frame
opening(F).

EXTENDEDSTORAGE
Usethe following suggestionswhen
storingthe mowerfor extendedperiodsof
time.
• Store mowerina levelposition.
• Thoroughlyinspectthe
mowerfor anyloose,
broken,or missing parts.
Repairor replaceas
necessary.
• Removeall fuel from fuel
tank or useafuel stabilizer
additiveasdirectedin
EngineOwner'sManual.
• Performenginemaintenanceas
describedin the Storageinstructionsof
the EngineOwner'sManual.
• Checkall nutsand screwsfor tightness.
• Onelectricstart modelsremovekey
from keyswitch.
• Chargethe batteryfor 24to 48 hours
beforeandafterseasonalstorage.
• Disconnectsparkplugwire from spark
plug.
Foldingthe HandlebarAssembly
IMPORTANT:Toavoiddamageto the
cablesandwiring, alwaysfold the top
section of the handlebarassembly
backward. Cablescanbeseverelybent if
folded incorrectly.
1. Loosenthe top two handlebaradjust-
ment knobs(1,Figure5-16)while sup-
porting the assemblywith one hand.
