6. Disassemble the brake:
6a. Unhook and remove the brake spring.
See Figure 6.88.
6b. Unbolt the brake yoke from the transaxle
using a 3/8” wrench.
See Figure 6.89.
6c. Slip the brake rotor off of the brake shaft
(splined end of bevel gear shaft).
