WARNING: Accidental Starts!

Disabling engine. Accidental starting can cause severe injury or death. Before working on the engine or equipment, disable the

Fuel Tank Outlet Flash Removal

1. Disable engine by disconnecting spark plug lead.

2. Ensure gas tank is completely empty of fuel. Do not

reuse fuel; dispose of according to local regulations.

3. Using pliers, pinch open fuel tank hose clamp and slide

clamp up hose. See Figure 1.

4. Disconnect fuel hose from fuel tank by carefully sliding

comes in contact with hot parts or sparks from ignition. Do not start the engine near spilled fuel. Never use gasoline as a cleaning agent.
