Incorrect Solenoid Jet (24 757 22-S)

transferred to the new solenoid.

therefore use of the 120 jet will affect the performance of
the engine. Our stock of these kits has been reworked, and
we recommend that yours also be checked and reworked
where necessary. Plugs are used when a solenoid is added
WRDFDUEXUHWRUWKDWZDVQRWRULJLQDOO\HTXLSSHGZLWKWKLV
feature. The plugs can be obtained through your normal
source of supply.

Used
Oil Pan Leaking on CV730,750 Engines
It has been our practice to use the 24 041 54-S oil pan
gasket on all CV Twin commercial spec engines 25 HP and
above. Kohler recently learned that a few commercial specs
&9&9ZHUHVSHFL¿HGIRU579LQVWHDG
of the pan gasket. New specs have now replaced them
with the gasket, but there were about 900 engines built with
RTV.
The use of RTV does not cause any problem, as witnessed
by thousands of other engines built that way. If the occasion
arises it is acceptable to repair the engine with the gasket,

camshaft shim 12 422 07-S, and O-Ring 24 153 08-S be
installed at the same time.
In this instance, two shims will be installed on the camshaft.
The shims compensate for the added thickness of the
gasket, so you don’t end up with excessive crankshaft and
camshaft end play.
