Ground Relocation on Dixon ZTR Mowers

3. Remove the silver-plated closure plate screw (Kohler
Part No. 24 086 17-S) from the RH corner (No. 4)
ǯȱȱȱȱȱǻȬǼȱĴ¢ȱȱȱ
long enough to connect to one of the starter mounting
ȱȱǻȱǼǯȱĴȱȱȱ
white ground leads, the negative ground lead (if unable
ȱȱȱȱǼǰȱȱ¢ȱȱȱ
washer removed in step 2, then reinstall the screw.
Torque the screw to 24.4 N·m (216 in. lb.). See Figures
2 and 3.

ground path and guard against apotential engine failure.
1. ȱȱȱȱȱȱȱǻȬǼȱĴ¢ȱ

ground lead terminals (double wire leads on RAM 50
units) and the star washer from the RH forward engine
mounting bolt. Reinstall the lock nut and torque the nut
and bolt to 28.3 N·m (250 in. lb.). See Figure 1.
