1. Remove the straight ě key and discard it.
See Figure 3.
2. Install the 6° ě key. See Figure 4. Correct
orientation of the key is necessary for proper
ignition timing. The ę mark must face
out, when viewing the Ě¢ as it is mounted.
See Figures 5 and 6.
NOTE: Improper installation of the ě key can
cause improper ignition timing and damage to
the engine.
NOTE: If a 22° Ě¢ is being replaced on a
CH/CV730 engine, it is recommended that
a 16° Ě¢ and straight ě key be
used.
