20. Remove the lynch pin and cotter pin from the shoulder lock
pins on the lift bracket assembly (#4). Insert the shoulder lock
pins into the lift arms on the tractor and re-insert the lynch
pins to secure the lift bracket assembly (#4) in place. See
Figure 2-11.

21. With the help of an assistant, slide the blade assembly (#1)
into position beneath the brace bracket assembly (#3).
Line the holes on the blade frame assembly (#1) up with
the holes in the brace bracket assembly (#3) and insert the
shoulder screws (#22) through each hole and secure with a
pair of hex lock nuts (#15). See Figure 2-13.

NOTE: The blade assembly should pivot freely on the
shoulder screws.
22. Insert the lift rod (#5) partially into the lift bracket assembly
(#4), fully thread one jam nut (#24), then slide the lift rod
(#5) the rest fo the way through the lift bracket assembly
(#4). Then install the lock washer (#18) and the other jam
nut (#24) onto the end of the lift rod (#5). See Figure 2-14.

NOTE: Do not fully tighten the jam nuts (#24) until
instructed to do so.
23. Slide the curved end of the lift rod (#5) into the front lift
bracket on the blade assembly (#1). Secure in place with the
cotter pin (#16). See Figure 2-15.

NOTE: When installing the lift rod (#5) make sure the rod is
inserted through front lift bracket from the left side.
