Blade Removal
To remove the blade continue as follows:
1. Remove the blade adjustment handle assembly (#2) from
the handle mount bracket (#7) by removing the eyebolt
assembly (#6) and wing nut (#14). See Figure 2-16.
2. Lower the blade and remove the cotter pin (#16) and clevis
pin securing the lift rod (#5) to the lift bracket assembly
(#4). See Figure 2-15. Place the cotter pin (#16) back into the
lift rod (#5) for storage.
3. Remove the lynch pin from the shoulder lock pin in the lift
bracket assembly (#4) and remove the lift bracket assembly
(#4) from the tractor. See Figure 2-11. Replace the lynch pin
for storage.
4. Remove the click pins from the rod securing the back
end of the brace bracket assembly (#3) to the mounting
brackets (#8). Slide the rod out of the brace bracket
assembly (#3) and the mounting brackets (#8).
5. Remove the hex washer screws (#25), lock washers (#26), flat
washers (#28), pivot pins (#27) and original flat washers that
secure the brace bracket assembly (#3) to the deck hanger
brackets. See Figure 2-10.
6. Z-Force S ONLY: The pivot pins (#27) may remain attached
to the tractor frame and can remain installed in the deck
hanger brackets.
7. PRO 100 ONLY: The pivot pins (#27) must be un-installed
from the deck hanger brackets and replaced with the old
pins and washers removed previous to the snow blade
installation.
