13. Install a bagger support bracket on each side of the tractor,
using the same holes in which the screws in Step 1 were
removed. Mount each bracket to the tractor frame by
feeding a 710-1090 hex screw found in hardware pack 689-
00338 through the frame, then a 712-3010 hex nut. Tighten
the hex nuts at this time. See Figure 4-11.
Note: The hex screws can be fed outward through the
frame first, as shown in Figure 4-11, or inward through
the bagger support bracket first. This option is based on
preference. The 712-3010 hex nuts should be tightened
(against bumper if bolts are inside-out, or against bracket if
bolts are outside-in).
14. Install the bagger support frame onto the hex screws
installed in Step 11. Secure the brackets using a 712-3004A
flange lock nut from the same hardware pack. See Figure
4 -11.
Note: It might be easier during this mounting assembly
stage to leave the 712-3004A lock nuts only finger tight
to facilitate the remaining installation steps. You will be
instructed to tighten this hardware later in this manual.

9. Position the muffler and bumper shield into place on the
tractor, as shown in Figure 4-8.
Figure 4-8
10. Re-install the rear hitch plate removed earlier using
hardware from the pack 689-00343. See Figure 4-9.
11. Install the bumper over the muffler and bumper shield
held in place, and secure with the two remaining tap
screws removed in step 1. See Figure 4-9.
Figure 4-9
12. Secure the bumper to the muffler shield using four (4) 710-
04484 included in hardware pack 689-00343. See Figure
4-10.
Note: The four (4) 710-04484 hex screws mount in the two
corner holes on each corner of the bumper. See Figure 4-10.
