OPERATION
CAUTION: Vehiclebrakingandstabilitymay
beaffectedwiththeadditionofanaccessory
or an attachment. Be aware of changing
conditions on slopes.
1. Refertothevehicleownersmanualforinstructionson
safe operation on slopes.
2. Usetheslopeguideprovidedonpage7ofthismanual
todeterminewhetherslopeangleistoosteepforsafe
operation.
3. Forbesthandlingandtraction,distributetheweightof
theloadevenlyinthecart.
4. Always test tomakesure yourtractorhasadequate
towing and braking capabilities whenever hauling a
substantialamount of weightin yourcart. Useextra
cautionwhenoperatingonslopes.
5. Todumpmaterialfromthecart,releasethespringlatch
onthetonguebypullingthelatchlockleverforward,away
fromthecart.Thecartbedwillthentiltbackwardsto
emptyitscontents.Afteremptying,pullthefrontofthe
beddowntowardthecarttongueuntilthelatchsnaps
into place.
6. Themaximumtowingspeedforthiscartis10m.p.h.
CAUTION: Toavoidpossibleinjury,before
releasingthelatchbesurethatnooneis
nearthecart.
NOTE
DO NOT EXCEED 650 LB. CAPACITY OF CART
One cubic foot of dirt weighs approximately 80 lbs.
MAINTENANCE
1. Atthebeginningofeachseason,usingalightmachine
oil,lubricatethelatch,thelatchpivotbolt,andthearea
oftheaxlewherethedrawbartonguepivots.
2. Grease or oil the wheel bearings periodically. Use
automotivewheel bearing type grease or 20 weight
oil.
3. Checkperiodicallyforloosebolts.
4. Keeptireslledtotherecommendedtirepressureof
12-14Lbs.
