Engine Inclination
Thisenginewilloperatecontinuouslyat anglesup
to 25° in any direction.
Refer to the operating instmc'donsofthe equip-
ment this engine powers. Because of equipment
designor application,there may be more stringent
restdcUonsregardingthe angle of operation.
CAUTION
Do not operate this engine continuously at
angles exceeding 25Qin any direction. En-
gine damage could result front insufficient
lubrication.

Stopping the Engine
Ordinary Stop
• Movethrottlelever(A) toSLOW position.
• Lowerthe enginespeedto an idle. Keep running
at idleforabout one minute.
Engine damage can occur from run.on or
after-burning If engine is stopped suddenly
from high speed loaded operation. Reduce
engine speed to Idle for one minute before
shutting engine off.
•Tum the engineswitchorthe switchkeyto "OFF"
ForControl Panel SwitchType, ruovethethrottre
leveragainst itslowspeed end to turns ignitionoff.
Emergency Stop
• Immediatelytum the engine switc_ or the switch
keyto _)FF" position.
• Closethe fuel valveon the equipment.
ForControlPanel SwitchType, move the throttle
lever on the equipment against its low speed end.
Movingthe lever againstitslowspeed endturns ig-
nitionoff,

Always remove Engine Key from switch
when leaving equipment unaUended or
when equipment is not in use.
