MANUFACTURER'S LIMITED WARRANTY FOR
SERIES 1000 & SERIES 1500 TRACTORS
IMPORTANT: Toobtainwarrantycoverageownermustpresentan original
proofof purchaseand applicablemaintenancerecordsto the servicingdealer.
Pleaseseethe operator'smanualfor informationon requiredmaintenanceand
serviceintervals.
Thelimitedwarrantyset forth belowis givenbyCub CadetLLCwith respectto
new merchandisepurchasedor leasedand usedin the
UnitedStatesand/or itsterritoriesand possessions,and byMTD Products
Limitedwith respectto newmerchandisepurchasedor leasedand usedin
Canadaand/or itsterritoriesand possessions(either entityrespectively,"Cub
Cadet").
Cub Cadetwarrantsthis product(excludingits NormalWearParts,Batteries,
and Frameand FrontAxle as describedbelow)against defectsin material
andworkmanshipfor a periodof three (3)years orone hundredtwenty (120)
operationhours,whichevercomesfirst,commencingonthe dateof original
retailpurchaseor leaseandwill, at itsoption,repairor replace,freeof charge,
anypart foundto bedefectiveinmaterialsorworkmanship.
NormalWearPartsare warrantedto befree fromdefects in materialand
workmanshipfor a periodof thirty (30) daysfromthe dateof originalpurchase
or lease.Normalwearparts include,butare not limitedto itemssuchas: belts,
blades,blade adapters,grassbags, riderdeck wheels,seats,andtires.
Batterieshavea one-yearproratedlimitedwarrantyagainstdefectsin material
andworkmanship,with 100%replacementduringthe firstthreemonths.After
threemonths,the battery replacementcredit isbasedonthe monthsremaining
inthe twelve (12)monthperioddatingbackto theoriginal dateof original sale
or lease.Any replacementbatterywillbe warrantedonlyfor the remainderof
theoriginal warrantyperiod.
Frameand FrontAxlei CubCadetwarrantstheframe,and frontcast iron
pivotaxle againstdefectsin materialandworkmanshipfor a periodof five (5)
yearsor 500 hours,whicheveroccursfirst, commencingon thedate of original
purchaseor lease.
Thislimitedwarrantyshallonly applyif this producthasbeenoperatedand
maintainedinaccordancewith theOperator'sManualfurnishedwiththe
product,and hasnotbeen subjectto misuse,abuse,commercialuse,neglect,
accident,impropermaintenance,alteration,vandalism,theft,fire, water,or
damagebecauseofother perilor naturaldisaster.Damageresultingfrom
theinstallationor useof anypart,accessoryor attachmentnotapproved
by CubCadetfor usewiththe product(s)coveredby this manualwill void
yourwarrantyas to any resultingdamage.In addition,CubCadetmaydeny
warrantycoverageifthe hourmeter,or anypart thereof,is altered,modified,
disconnectedor otherwisetamperedwith.

PURCHASEANDAPPLICABLEMAINTENANCERECORDS,throughyour

Withoutlimitingtheforegoing,this limitedwarrantydoes notprovidecoverage
inthe followingcases:
a. Routinemaintenanceitemssuchas lubricants,filters, bladesharpening,
tune-ups,brakeadjustments,clutchadjustments,deckadjustments,and
normaldeteriorationof theexteriorfinishdueto use or exposure.
b. Servicecompletedby someoneotherthanan authorizedservicedealer.
c. Cub Cadetdoes notextendanywarrantyfor productssold or exported
outsideof the UnitedStatesand/or Canada,andtheir respectiveposses-
sionsand territories,exceptthose sold throughCub Cadet'sauthorized
channelsof exportdistribution.
d. Replacementpartsand\or accessoriesthatare not genuineCub Cadet
parts.
e. Transportationchargesandservice calls.
f. Cub Cadetdoes notwarrantthis productfor commercialuse.
Thereareno impliedwarranties,includingwithoutlimitation anyimplied
warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No
warranties shall apply after the applicable period of express written
warranty above. No other express warranties beyond those mentioned
above, given by any person or entity, including a dealer or retailer, with
respect to any product, shall bind Cub Cadet. The exclusive remedy is
repair or replacement of the product as set forth above. The terms of
this warranty provide the sole and exclusive remedyarising from the
sale and/or lease ofthe products covered hereby. Cub Cadet shall not
be liable for any incidental or consequential loss or damage including,
without limitation, expenses incurred for substitute or replacement lawn
care services or for rental expenses to temporarily replace a warranted
product.
Somejurisdictionsdo notallowtheexclusionor limitationof incidentalor
consequentialdamages,or limitationsonhow longanimpliedwarrantylasts,
so theaboveexclusionsorlimitationsmaynotapplyto you.
In noevent shallrecoveryof anykind begreaterthanthe amountof the
purchasepriceof the productsold.Alteration of safety features of the
product shall void this warranty. Youassumethe riskand liabilityfor loss,
damage,or injuryto you andyour propertyand/or to othersandtheir property
arisingoutof the misuseor inabilityto usethe product.
Thislimitedwarrantyshallnot extendto anyoneotherthanthe original
purchaseror tothe personforwhom itwas purchasedas a gift.
HOWLOCAL LAWSRELATETOTHIS WARRANTY:This limitedwarranty
givesyouspecific legalrights,and youmayalso haveotherrightsthat varyin
differentjurisdictions.
