Deck Rear Roller Adjustment
The rearrollersonthe mowerdeckarenotdesignedto
carrythe weightof the deck,The rearrollersshouldbe
adjustedto approximately1/4"to 1/2"abovetheground
whenthe deckis movedto the desiredcuttingheight,
Placethe tractorona smooth,flatsurface,movethe deck
to the desiredcuttingheight,andcheckthe heightofthe
rearrollers,Ifcontactingthe ground,orabove1/2"from
the ground,adjustthe rearrollersas follows:
46" Deck ONLY
The 46"deck rollerassemblyindexbrackethasthree
adjustmentpositionsusingeitherthe bottomtwoholes,
middletwoholes,ortop twoholes.
• Supporttherollerassemblyandremovethe two self
tappingscrewsfromboththe leftand rightrollerindex
brackets,
• Positionthe rollerassemblyso thatthe rollersare ap-
proximately1/4"to 1/2"abovethe flatsurfacebelow,
Alignthe nearesttwoindexbracketholeswithholesin
the deckmountingbrackets,SeeFigure13,
• Securetherollerassemblywiththefour selftapping
screws.SeeFigure13.
NOTE: Theselftappingscrewsshouldbein the
correspondingholesof boththe leftand rightrollerindex
brackets,

• Whilesupportingtherollerassembly,removeclick pin
andwithdrawthe clevispinfromboththe leftand right
rollerindexbrackets,See Figure14,

• Positionthe rollerassemblysothatthe rollersareap-
proximately1/4"to 1/2"abovethe flatsurfacebelow.
• Alignthe nearestindexbracketholeswiththe holes
inthe deckmountingbrackets.Insertthe clevispins
throughthe deckbracketsandthe indexbracketsand
securewiththe click pins.See Figure14.
NOTE:The clevispinsshouldbe inthe corresponding
holesof boththe left andright rollerindexbrackets.
