Engine Inclination
Thisenginewill operateconlJnuouslyat anglesup
to 25° in any direction.
Refer to the operating instmc'donsofthe equip-
ment this engine powers. Because of equipment
designor application,there may be more stringent
restrictionsregardingthe angle ofoperation+
CAUTION
Do not operate this engine continuously at
angles exceeding 25Qin any direction. En-
gine damage could result front insufficient
lubricaf_on.

Stopping the Engine
Ordinary Stop
• Movethrottlelever(A) to SLOW position.
• Lowerthe enginespeed to an idle. Keep running
at idle for aboutone minute.
CAUTION
Engine damage can occur from run.on or
after-burning If engine is stopped suddenly
fi'om high speed loaded operation. Reduce
engine speed to Idle for one minute before
shutting engine off.
• Tumthe engine switchorthe switchkeyto "OFF"
For ControlPanel SwitchType, move the throttle
leveragainstitslow speed end toturns ignitionoff+
• Immediatelytum the engineswitc_or the _,vitc_
key to "OFF" position.
• Closethefuel valve on theequipment.
ForControlPanel Switch Type, move the throttle
lever on the equipmentagainst itslow speed end.
Movingthe lever againstitslowspeed endturns ig-
nitionoff,

Always remove Engine Key from switch
when leaving equipment unattended or
when equipment i$ not in use.
