MANUFACTURER'S LiMiTED WARRANTY FOR
SERIES 1000 & SERIES 1500 TRACTORS
IMPORTANT: Toobtainwarrantycoverageownermust presentan original
proofofpurchaseand applicablemaintenancerecordstothe servicingdealer.
Pleaseseethe operator'smanualfor informationon requiredmaintenanceand
serviceintervals.
Thelimitedwarrantysetforth belowis given byCub CadetLLCwith respectto
new merchandisepurchasedor leasedand usedin the
UnitedStatesand/or itsterritoriesandpossessions,and byMTD Products
Limitedwith respectto newmerchandisepurchasedor leasedand usedin
Canadaand/or itsterritoriesand possessions(eitherentity respectively,"Cub
Cadet").
CubCadetwarrantsthis product(excludingits NormalWearParts,Batteries,
and Frameand FrontAxle as describedbelow)againstdefects inmaterial
andworkmanshipfor a periodofthree (3)years orone hundredtwenty (120)
operationhours,whichevercomesfirst,commencingonthe dateof original
retailpurchaseor leaseandwill, at itsoption,repairor replace,free of charge,
anypart foundto bedefectiveinmaterialsorworkmanship.
NormalWearPartsare warrantedto befreefromdefectsin materialand
workmanshipfor a periodofthirty (30) daysfromthe dateof originalpurchase
or lease.Normalwearparts include,butare not limitedto itemssuchas: belts,
blades,blade adapters,grass bags,riderdeck wheels,seats,andtires.
Batterieshavea one-yearproratedlimitedwarrantyagainstdefectsin material
andworkmanship,with 100%replacementduringthe firstthreemonths.After
threemonths,the battery replacementcredit is basedonthe monthsremaining
inthe twelve (12)monthperioddatingbackto theoriginal dateof original sale
or lease.Any replacementbatterywillbe warrantedonlyfor the remainderof
theoriginalwarrantyperiod.
Frameand FrontAxle--Cub Cadetwarrantstheframe,and frontcastiron
pivotaxle againstdefectsin materialandworkmanshipfor a periodoffive (5)
yearsor 500 hours,whicheveroccursfirst, commencingon thedateoforiginal
purchaseor lease.
Thislimitedwarrantyshallonly applyif this producthasbeen operatedand
maintainedin accordancewith theOperator'sManualfurnishedwiththe
product,and hasnotbeen subjectto misuse,abuse,commercialuse,neglect,
accident,impropermaintenance,alteration,vandalism,theft,fire, water,or
damagebecauseofother perilor naturaldisaster.Damageresultingfrom
theinstallationor useof anypart,accessoryor attachmentnotapproved
by CubCadetfor use withthe product(s)coveredby this manualwill void
yourwarrantyas to any resultingdamage.In addition,CubCadetmaydeny
warrantycoverageifthe hourmeter,or anypartthereof,isaltered,modified,
disconnectedor otherwisetamperedwith.

Withoutlimitingtheforegoing,this limitedwarrantydoes notprovidecoverage
inthe followingcases:
a. Routinemaintenanceitemssuchas lubricants,filters, bladesharpening,
tune-ups,brakeadjustments,clutchadjustments,deckadjustments,and
normaldeteriorationof theexteriorfinish dueto useorexposure.
b. Servicecompletedby someoneotherthan anauthorizedservicedealer.
c. Cub Cadetdoes notextendanywarrantyfor productssoldor exported
outsideof the UnitedStatesand/or Canada,andtheir respectiveposses-
sionsand territories,exceptthose sold throughCubCadet'sauthorized
channelsof exportdistribution.
d. Replacementparts and\or accessoriesthatare not genuineCubCadet
parts.
e. Transportationchargesandservice calls.
f. CubCadetdoes notwarrantthis productfor commercialuse.
Thereare no impliedwarranties, includingwithout limitation any implied
warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.No
warranties shall apply after the applicable period of express written
warranty above. No otherexpress warranties beyond those mentioned
above, given by any person or entity, includinga dealer or retailer, with
respect to any product, shall bind Cub Cadet. Theexclusive remedy is
repair or replacement ofthe productas set forth above. The terms of
this warranty providethe sole and exclusive remedyarising from the
sale and/or lease ofthe products covered hereby. Cub Cadet shall not
be liable for any incidentalor consequential loss or damage including,
without limitation, expenses incurredfor substitute or replacement lawn
care services or for rental expenses to temporarily replace a warranted
product.
Somejurisdictionsdo notallowthe exclusionor limitationof incidentalor
consequentialdamages,or limitationsonhow longanimpliedwarrantylasts,
so theabove exclusionsorlimitationsmaynotapplytoyou.
In noevent shallrecoveryof anykind begreaterthanthe amountof the
purchasepriceofthe productsold.Alterationof safety features of the
productshall void this warranty. Youassumethe riskand liabilityfor loss,
damage,or injuryto youandyourpropertyand/orto othersandtheir property
arisingoutof the misuseor inabilityto usethe product.
Thislimitedwarrantyshallnot extendtoanyoneotherthanthe original
purchaseror to the personfor whom itwas purchasedas a gift.
HOWLOCAL LAWSRELATETOTHIS WARRANTY:This limitedwarranty
givesyouspecific legalrights,and youmayalsohaveotherrightsthat varyin
differentjurisdictions.
