Step 2. for NEXEDGE
Connect RadioPro IP Gateway to Control Station Radio
Note: Before continuing, ensure that the programming cable has been disconnected from the front mic connector.
Connect the IP Gateway to the Control Station radio using the following steps:
1. Connect the DB-25 side of cable S2-617691 to the DB-25 connector on the rear of the NEXEDGE NX-800 radio.
2. Connect the DE-9 side of the cable to the DE-9 connector on the rear of the IP Gateway.
3. Ensure that jack screws on both connector are tightened to hold connectors in place.
Since the IP Gateway has not been configured yet with appropriate IP parameters, do NOT connect the IP Gateway to an
IP network.
Step 2. for Generic Radios using Basic RxTx
Connect RadioPro IP Gateway to Control Station Radio
Connect the IP Gateway to the Control Station radio using the following steps:
1. Modify one end of cable # 89-12109 (DE-9 female to DE-9 female) to connect to the generic control station radio.
See radio documentation for the necessary signals listed below.

2. Connect one side of modified cable to the DE-9 connector on the rear of the IP Gateway.
3. Connect the other side of modified cable to the generic radio.
