4.1.8.2 Profile Operation
The FMUX01A/Plus has three profile locations in non-volatile memory. Profile I and Profile II may contain
user configured profile data. The factory default profile is read-only and set at factory. Loading this profile
will restore all settings of the multiplexer back to their factory default originals.
The profile settings can be selected between the local or remote multiplexer. The default boot profile may be
configured so that this is the profile automatically loaded when the multiplexer is cold started.
If the active profile had been changed during the configuration process, the "Profile Modification" will show
"Y". This reminds the user that in order to keep settings, the profile must be saved.
You may select either profile I or II then press [F3] function to save the current active configuration to it.
The next subsequent boot process will automatically configure the system with the saved profile. You may
also select either profile I or II then press [F2] function to immediately load the previously saved profile into
active configuration.
To restore to factory default, simply use the up/down arrow keys to highlight the Profile Factory Default,
then press [F2] and confirm the load with <OK>. If you want to reboot with factory defaults, then you need
to load the factory default and then save it to the default boot profile.
