u 911 Emergency Call
When “9-1-1” is called, it is treated as a special number. It can
be called, even when the telephone is Lock mode. If the call
doesn’t connect within 5.5 seconds, it is automatically redialed.
Note that, as with other automatic redialing, it will initiate only
on a “Cellular System” busy signal, but not on a “Landline” busy
signal. The automatic redial attempts will continue indefinitely,
unless a connection is made, “END” is pushed, or the handset is
placed on-hook.
Additionally, a “9-1-1” call is permitted to use alternate analog
carriers, using a special call system selection process.
u Scratch Pad Memory
While in Scratch Pad mode, the display may be used as a sort of
numerical note pad during a conversation and can hold up to 7
entries of up to 32 digits. This “Scratch Pad” can be used to store
any kind of numerical data. For example a market quote while
on-line with your stock broker or a telephone number supplied
by a recording, informing you the number has been changed, etc.
Storing Numbers in the Scratch Pad
The Scratch Pad operates in a “First In First Out” (FIFO)
fashion. The first number entered will be stored in memory
location 90. When a second number is entered into the note
pad the first number will be shifted to location 91 and the
newly entered number will occupy location 90. In the same
manner, when the seventh number is entered, the first
number will be shifted to location 96, and when the eighth
number is entered, the first entry will be erased.
üü To begin your entries into the Scratch Pad, enter the
first digit sequence you wish to store and press “FNC,
