GRAB BAR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: BARSB x LENGTH x TW x OD x FINISH
SAFETY NOTE: Concealed In-Wall support backing is ALWAYS REQUIRED for this product (not included) and must be
supplied and selected by a licensed installer/contractor to meet both weight bearing and local code requirements.
PRODUCT INSTALLATION SHOULD BE DONE BY A LICENSED INSTALLER/CONTRACTOR.
CAUTION: Personal injury and/or property damage may result from improper wall support or mounting, which is not
covered under warranty.
IT IS ESSENTAIL TO MARK THE CENTERLINE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE TWO MOUNTING FLANGE PLATES AS WELL AS
THE DISTANCE FROM CENTER OF EACH MOUNTING PLATE TO THE FINISH FLOOR TO ASSURE PROPER ALIGNMENT.
INSTALLATION STEPS:
1. Remove all contents from box. For the Grab Bar with Soap Dish, Shelf or Corner Shelf do NOT follow Steps 2, Step 9
and Step 12-14 and instead install with the stainless steel screws or toggle kit included.
2. Assemble the flanges onto the Grab Bar
MOUNTING LOCATIONS: Install only where proper structure in the wall exists and avoid pipes, wires, and grout
IMPORTANT: MUST HAVE PROPER CONCEALED IN-WALL BACKING INSTALLED BY A LICENSED INSTALLATION
PROFESSTIONAL AT SCREW MOUNTING LOCATIONS
3. Hold the Grab Bar against the wall at the location it is to be installed
4. Use the mounting flange plates as a template to mark center of screw hole locations on wall and drill pilot holes.
5. Onto the backside of each flange (the side where it will touch the wall) apply a bead of silicone caulk around each
screw hole
6. For applications where there is wood backing or wall studs are present within the wall, please use the wood screws
provided instead of the togglers
7. Install the Grab Bar with the manufacturer’s provided screws and togglers. After installing the bar, inspect each
screw to ensure it is tight, straight, and flush with the flange. Avoid damage to wall, tile, or fasteners by not over-
tightening screws
8. Slide plastic collar against the wall and snap off the excess plastic tabs
9. Loosening the three set screws in each flange post, and remove the two flange bases from the Grab Bar
10. Assemble the concealed flange cover over the grab bar posts
11. Place the flange bases on the wall matching the longer holes in the flange base with the inserted togglers
12. Attach flange bases using the four machine screws provided, tighten and secure
13. Position the posts over the flange base already attached to the wall
14. Tighten each set screws for final assembly
Maintenance: Clean with mild soap and water
Warranty Full 1 year warranty for material defects and manufacturing defects.
