B. LCD Wall and Ceiling Mount
1. All supports for LCD panels and monitors shall be appropriately sized and chosen for
the exact model display to be supported.
2. Contractor shall match the weight of the display to the recommended weight rating of
the support.
3. Contractor shall review the location where the support is to be mounted. Match the
surface to which the display is to be mounted with the best attachment hardware
available for the support.
4. All supports shall be by Peerless or Chief Corporation or equal. Contractor shall
submit each support for review by the Owner and Engineer prior to installation.
5. Ceiling Mount shall be Chief #FHB18-110 or equal. Match the drop of the screen to
the custom pipe length.
6. Wall Mount swing-out mount shall be Chief Mfg. #TS325T or equal.
2.03 MULTI-FORMAT SWITCHING
A. Audio and Video Switcher/Scaler:
1. Contractor shall provide an audio/video switcher/scaler capable of switching
computer video signals/ video signals and the associated audio.
a. Video/Audio inputs shall include:
A) Four –HDMI
B) 2 VGA D-sub 15
C) 2 Composite Video on an RCA connector
D) 3 Component on RCA connectors
E) 10 Audio inputs on 3- pin terminal block.
F) Video output shall include:
G) 1 VGA on 5 BNC Connectors
H) 1 HDMI
I) 1 VGA on D-sub 15
J) Analog stereo Audio on RCA connectors.
2. Switcher shall be compatible with third party controls via RS-232 inputs.
3. Switcher shall be rack-mountable. Output shall be automatically scaled as required to
match input of video display device.
4. Contractor shall provide all interconnection cables required. Each cable shall have a
wrap-around label that details the components it connects.
5. Video switcher with audio shall be Kramer #VP-461 or equal.
2.04 MISCELLANEUOUS DEVICES
A. Shelf for mounting the AV equipment shall be installed where shown.
1. The shelf shall be equipped for supporting all AV equipment.
2. Shelf shall be deep enough to support all equipment
3. Shelf shall be Middle Atlantic #WMS-1614DC
2.05 PROJECTION SCREENS
A. Ceiling Mount Manual Video projection screen
1. Matte White as manufactured Flame retardant, mildew resistant, white, vinyl coated
fiberglass screen that can be rolled and cleaned with mild soap and water solution.
a. Gain: 1.0. Viewing angle: 50 degrees.
2. 16;10 aspect ratio: 60” x 96”. 113” diagonal viewing.
3. Manually operated, retractable projection screen with rigid steel, spring return.
4. Installation method: Mount from the wall with minimum of 6” off the wall.
5. Case: Extruded aluminum with steel end caps designed to receive mounting
hardware. a. Finish: White paint.
a. Provide with black masking borders.
b. Provide with custom black drop so that the top of the screen is no higher than
8’ AFF.
6. Screen shall be by Da-Lite model C with CSR or equal.
